Events and Activities Planner

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES PLANNER AT RIGHT AT HOME OF CENTRAL NEW JERSEY
As our Events and Activities Planner, you can be the first point of contact for potential clients residing in assisted living facilities, rehab centers, independent living communities or senior centers. You’ll plan, schedule and participate in various events such as:
Lunch-and-learn educational events in which you’ll talk about and provide information on such topics as heart-healthy eating.
Community entertainment events like the Spirit of ’45 where you’ll present music from the 1930s and 1940s to honor the spirit of the Greatest Generation.
Community education on health topics such as Pain Management.
Fun events like Laughter Therapy where you’ll get people laughing and then have them participate in a raffle.
Senior Activities designed to engage seniors like vintage television and movie trivia, cell phone help, makeup tips and many more.
Health fairs to provide information about Right at Home’s in-home care and how it can help the senior community.
Your ability to easily build relationships with others is evident at all of these events, programs and activities as you interact with those seeking information. You love that you have the opportunity to not only improve the lives of others as our Events and Activities Planner but to bring some valuable information to and entertain our seniors as well.
QUALIFICATIONS TO BE AN EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES PLANNER
Network marketing experience
Public speaking skills
Event coordination experience
A winning personality and endless enthusiasm
Previous experience in the home health care industry is a plus, but not required. Are you self-directed, self-motivated, and focused on achieving winning results? Do you have a pleasant and helpful disposition and the ability to easily create relationships with others? Do you want to be part of a team that helps senior citizens retain their independence and live safely wherever they may call home? If so, we want to meet you!
The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 9 am – 5 pm. There may be some after-hours networking meetings or health fairs held on a weekend. You’ll be based primarily out of our East Brunswick office but you’ll be providing events and activities throughout Middlesex and Northern Monmouth Counties.
