The Heart of the Veteran

Gain the knowledge on how to honor our veterans’ preferences for care at the end of life and how to provide them with respect, recognition, comfort and compassion.

Discuss statistics and the different cultures of wars and their impact and discuss “why forgiveness is the cornerstone of healing” and how that impacts many veterans, bringing to light issues that caregivers may encounter and the services available for veterans and their families.

This event is presented by Right at Home of Central New Jersey in conjunction with Vitas Healthcare and Madison Center.

The event will be presented by Justin Davidson, MPP OEF Army Veteran who is the Veterans Community Liaison for Vitas Healthcare and will provide 1 CE credit for nurses and social workers.
