RN Charge Nurse

Nursing supervisor position for St. Mary’s Villa, an Independent Living Facility.
Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel (and ancillary staff as needed) in accordance with current Federal, State and Local standards/regulations, OSHA and HIPAA guidelines. Must be an able leader in group situations and have a pleasant, friendly personality. Must be able to execute independent judgment in the absence of management.
Manage the well-being of our residents, including developing and initiating care plans, monitoring medication and vital signs, as well as providing direct care, as needed.
Assure that the highest degree of quality care is provided to our residents at all times.
Designate nursing assignments and set work schedules.
Must be proficient in PCC, Time and Attendance, and standard computer applications.
Interact with residents’ families and loved ones and report changes in their health or care plan.
Routinely interact with Physicians and other medical professionals
Must have an empathetic approach to the residents, families, and loved ones of St. Mary’s Villa and be able to ensure continuity of care by getting to know each resident, their needs and the best approach to their healthcare as a whole.
Must maintain current New Jersey RN nursing license
